RTO Meaning — Return to Origin Explained

What RTO (return to origin) means, why parcels go back to seller, and how to read RTO scans on your AWB timeline.

What RTO means

Return to Origin means the courier is sending the parcel back to the seller or warehouse instead of delivering to you.

Common RTO reasons

Wrong address, unreachable phone, refused delivery, failed OTP, or repeated unsuccessful attempts can all trigger RTO.

What you should do

Open marketplace support with order ID + AWB. Ask whether a re-ship is possible. Tracking will show reverse scans until the seller receives the parcel.

Enter your AWB / waybill number.

Select a courier if auto-detect does not work.
