Privacy Policy

How WhereIsMyOrder handles tracking lookups, analytics, courier APIs, data retention, and your privacy.

Overview

WhereIsMyOrder.org ("we", "us") provides free public parcel tracking. This policy explains what limited data we process when you use the site.

Tracking numbers

When you submit an AWB, Order ID, LR, or consignment number, we forward it to the relevant courier system (or official tracking API) to fetch shipment status. We do not build a user account around your tracking numbers and do not sell personal tracking data.

Third-party courier APIs

To show live status we call courier-operated systems and public tracking endpoints (for example Delhivery, Blue Dart, DTDC, DHL, FedEx, India Post, and others we list on the site). Those providers process the tracking identifier under their own terms and privacy policies. We only send what is needed to look up status.

Data retention

Tracking lookups may be cached briefly to improve performance and reduce load on courier APIs (typically minutes to a few hours, depending on configuration). Server logs used for security, rate limiting, and debugging may retain request metadata (such as time, approximate IP, and courier code) for a limited period — generally up to 90 days — then deleted or anonymised. We do not keep a long-term personal profile of your shipments.

Analytics & logs

We may use analytics (such as Google Tag Manager / Google Analytics, Microsoft Clarity, and Vercel Analytics) and server logs to understand traffic, diagnose errors, and prevent abuse. These tools may collect device, browser, and approximate location signals as configured by those providers.

Cookies

Essential cookies may be used for security and site operation. Analytics cookies, if present, help measure usage. You can control cookies through your browser settings.
