How we track
This table is generated from our tracking code — the same registry that decides whether to show you live status or link you to the courier official tracker. LIVE — LIVE means we can fetch status from the courier public API or website today. OFFICIAL SITE — OFFICIAL SITE means we link you to the courier own tracker with your number prefilled where supported. NOT YET — NOT YET means we do not have a data source for that courier yet.

Status and reasons come from COURIER_SUPPORT and live-status checks — not a hand-written marketing table.
What each status means
LIVE
We fetch status from the courier public API or website. You see pickup, in-transit, out-for-delivery and delivery scans directly on WhereIsMyOrder. This does not mean real-time GPS — it means the courier shares scan data publicly and we can show it.
OFFICIAL SITE
We cannot fetch live data (the courier blocked automated access or we do not have API credentials yet), so we link you to the courier own tracking page with your number prefilled where supported. You check status directly on their site.
NOT YET
We do not have a data source for this courier yet. This usually means the courier is not widely used for e-commerce or its tracking requires an account. We expand coverage where demand justifies it.
What live status does not promise
- Not real-time GPS. Scans appear when the courier updates their system — usually at pickup, hub arrival, out for delivery, and delivery. A parcel can be on a vehicle for hours between scans.
- Not a guarantee of accuracy. We show what the courier system reports. If their data is stale, delayed, or wrong, we show that. Always check the last scan time.
- Not an SLA. Courier APIs can be slow, rate-limited, or temporarily down. When that happens we show a timeout or error message and link you to the official tracker.
Coverage FAQs
- Why can’t you track DTDC or XpressBees here?
- Their public tracking pages use bot protection (CAPTCHA or Altcha). We do not bypass that. When you pick those couriers, we explain the limitation and link you to their official tracker with your number prefilled where their site supports it.
- Will FedEx or DHL ever show live status on WhereIsMyOrder?
- They can, once we configure their official carrier API credentials in production. Today they are marked OFFICIAL SITE: we help with number formats and open their own tracker. The coverage table updates automatically when our support registry changes.
- How often is this coverage list updated?
- The table is generated from our tracking code on each page load. Last content review is shown on the page. Courier availability is re-checked when we run tracking probes or change the support registry.
