An AWB is the courier’s shipment ID. Once you have it from SMS, the seller, or the marketplace app, you can check live status without visiting every courier website.

What is an AWB number?

AWB (Air Waybill) is the unique tracking number assigned when a courier picks up your parcel. You will find it on shipping SMS, seller dashboards, or the label on the package.

Where shoppers usually see it

Meesho, Flipkart, Amazon, and other apps show the AWB under Track / shipment details after dispatch. SMS often repeats the same string.

Marketplace order IDs identify your purchase in the store. Couriers update hub scans on the AWB — prefer the tracking number for live status.

Tips for faster tracking
