What “RTO initiated” means on Meesho
Return to Origin has started. Delivery attempts may be over, or the order was cancelled/undeliverable. Forward delivery to you is unlikely unless support intercepts early.
RTO vs cancelled
Cancelled is a marketplace state; RTO is a courier logistics state. You can see both together when a shipped order is cancelled or undelivered.
Why Meesho RTO starts
Failed attempts, wrong address, unreachable phone, COD refusal, or buyer/seller cancellation after dispatch are typical triggers.
Refunds and re-ordering
Prepaid refunds usually process after the seller receives the returned parcel. Track RTO completion below, then follow Meesho Help if money is delayed. Place a new order only after you confirm the old one will not re-attempt.
