Why Amazon tracking stops updating
Scans update when the parcel hits a hub, line-haul, or delivery attempt. Gaps of 24–72 hours are common on long routes, especially during sales and monsoon disruptions.
TBA not yet manifested
Right after “shipped”, Amazon Shipping may show a TBA before the first physical scan. Wait for pickup confirmation before assuming a failure.
Seller-fulfilled partner delay
Third-party seller shipments on Delhivery, Blue Dart, or DTDC update on those networks — check the partner AWB, not only the Amazon order page summary.
How to refresh status yourself
Copy the tracking ID from Your Orders → Track package (or the shipping email). Paste it below to read the raw courier timeline with timestamps.
When to contact Amazon
If the promise date has passed and there is no new scan for several days, contact Amazon with order ID + tracking ID. Ask for a shipment trace or replacement options.

Amazon order not updating for 2 days — is it lost?
- Not necessarily. Inter-hub transit often has quiet gaps. Compare against the promise date and last scan location before filing a claim.
Amazon shows shipped but tracking is blank
- The label may be created before pickup. Recheck after the first “picked up” or “manifested” event, or verify you copied the full TBA.
Should I track with order ID or TBA?
- Use the TBA / courier AWB for live scans. The Amazon order ID is for account support, not courier hubs.
