DTDC LR Number Tracking — How It Works

DTDC uses both **AWB/consignment numbers** and **LR (Lorry Receipt) numbers** for tracking freight and B2B shipments across India.

What is an LR number?

LR is a receipt number issued when goods are booked for road transport. It is common in B2B logistics, bulk shipments, and freight forwarding — different from the AWB used for small e-commerce parcels.

How to track DTDC by LR number

1. Find your LR number on the booking receipt or transporter invoice 2. Enter it on DTDC tracking page — with or without "LR" prefix 3. WhereIsMyOrder auto-detects DTDC and fetches live scans

LR number vs consignment number

• **LR number** — freight/road transport reference
• **Consignment number** — parcel tracking ID (similar to AWB)
